Refund and Returns Policy

Our refund and returns policy lasts 7 days. If 7 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition, you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.

Additional non-returnable items:

The Wood item not return. (eg. wooden top of the Machine)

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:

  1. Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
  2. Suppose a customer has ordered a complete set of the sewing machine, if there are some problems, if one of the items is completely broken, then the customer will get a refund for the broken item only, but not for the complete machine set.
  3. If the product is free shipping, the product cost paid by the customer will be reduced by approximately 20-30% of the total cost while making the refund.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds

  1. If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again.
  2. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted.
  3. Next, contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted.
  4. If you’ve done all of this and still have not received your refund, please contact us at {[email protected]}.

Exchanges
If the delivered product is completely broken, the customer can exchange the product. The first product will be exchanged and if the customer wants money then the customer will be refunded.
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item, email us at {[email protected]} and send your item photo and video to: {[email protected] }.
A proper video should be taken when the product is delivered and a proper video should be taken while unboxing. If the video is not proper, there will be no returns and refunds.
If the video is misguiding then the return and refund options will be closed, so there is nothing we can do about it.

Product Refunds
If your product is defective and you need a refund, then only the price of the product will be refunded to you. The shifting cost will not be refunded. (eg. The price of the Product – 500 and the shipping cost & its charges – 50 rs, then the total cost of the product customer pay us 550 rs. If customers have a refund then we only refund 500 rs of the product, not refund 50 rs of shipping.)
Example – Product price 200 rs & Shipping cost 30 rs = Refund Cost only 200 rs.
Suppose a customer has ordered a complete set of the sewing machine, if there are some problems, if one of the items is completely broken, then the customer will get a refund for the broken item only, but not for the complete machine set.
E.g. A machine set consists of a machine, a stand, and a table. If the stand in the set is completely broken, only the stand will be refunded.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you.
If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Free Shipping Return
If the product is in free shipping and the customer wants a refund, in that condition, if the first product is fully damaged, the customer will receive an exchange, but if the customer wants a refund, the customer will receive a refund, the shipping cost of approximately 25 – 30 percent will be deducted from the total bill and refunded to the customer.

Shipping Returns
To return your product, you should mail your product.
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
Only the product will be refunded, shipping costs will not be refunded.
Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

How Normal Refunds Work🔗

When you make a Normal refund request to the company, the information is sent to banking partners or other related stakeholders. Each of them has its own process for refund requests. After processing the refund request, the refund amount is sent to the customer’s bank account or card balance.

Payment Methods🔗

We support all payment methods for Normal refunds.

Refunds are sent back to the original payment method used in making the payment. For example, if a credit card was used to make the payment, the refund amount is pushed to the same credit card.

When you send a Normal refund request to SewingIndian, the information is sent to our banking partners. Depending on the bank’s processing time, it can take 5-7 business days for the refunds to reflect in the customer’s bank account or card balance.

The time taken to process a normal refund depends on the payment mode used while making the payment.

Refund Fees🔗

For Normal refunds, SewingIndian does not charge any processing fee. However, the transaction fee and GST levied by Razorpay at the time of payment capture will not be reversed to your account (merchant’s account).
